Airlines operate very differently in relation to flight pay. In the uk you are payed from the minute you check in until the minute you check out. No downtime in between flights.

I can’t believe some airlines don’t pay you for boarding and only when wheels unlock and then lock at the gate!
Luckily I get paid the second we report at the gate (at our report time).
I hope you guys fight for better pay!! You deserve it !!!

Hope your mom gets better soon. I hate getting up early too. Hope with the contract negotiations you get more pay. Cause if you're working in the plane before and after take off and landing then you should get paid. That's just wrong.

Wow!...you have Mia recovering and your Mom is having difficulties...you need to catch a break!! Hope they figure out what is going on with your Mom and she can be recovering soon too!! It makes no sense for FA's to be out sitting in an airport because that's where your airline has flown you and you are not being paid for having a "sit"...to me once you arrive on your plane per your reporting time you should be getting paid especially since you are required to be doing your safety checks, etc. Makes no sense to me...hope you have a good Union. Take care and have some good days off!!

I think ALL flight attendants should be able to clock in and start getting paid as soon as the board no matter the airline!!! 👍

The airline is supposed to pay you while you are on duty wether you are flying or on the ground. Getting paid only for six hours while you are wearing their uniform and on duty very offensive.

In my opinion, when you guys arrive on airport 🛫 property and suited up in uniforms, you should be considered to be "On Duty" and be paid as such, and not when just when working in flight ✈️ on the plane😢😮. I hope 🙏 that your Unions are successful in getting that changed; you all are overworked and under paid for what you have to deal with on flights ✈️ in today's society. Prayers 🙏for your Mom ❤! You don’t get paid when boarding,
In between etc but you get hotel and ride paid for. So don’t make it seem like everything else is from your pocket lol

Not a chance I’m not getting paid while on duty on work regulations, goodbye even wanting to be a short flight flight attendant. Hell nah.
