We've been fortunate enough to have a 2019 BMW S1000RR with M Package on our BikeSocial long term fleet and here are our Web Editor, Michael Mann's first impressions.

Lots of haters in the comments, many of whom have probably not even demo'd/ridden the bike, let alone seen it in person. But they're entitled to their opinion. What I find perplexing is the people hating on Michael. To those making such comments: are you that unhappy with your own life that you feel the need to come here to release your negativity and try to bring someone else down? You guys are sad, get a life haha.

Gonna get me one next year, good thing i didnt bite on it early on because of all the delays with people reserving them. By next year i can make certain if everything will turn out good with this new s1000rr, probably the best road bike with better comfort than most sport bikes in its class.

i myself owned a 919 FIREBLADE. Well the new s1000rr give you a chance to ride a new tech bike. Well if i'm bored with the tech, i can just ride my fireblade instead. Definitely willl get the s1000rr soon

bah, id still buy a tuono for my next bike. slower than this but the v4 and the wide bars are much better than low clip ons

My insurance premium has nearly doubled... That will be why you got the M sport bike and not the poverty spec one

I own a Panigale v4 so will watch your reviews with interest. Lacks the specialness of the Ducati for me

You could go for a drink with Lord Lucan quicker than dealers can supply you with an S1000RR....delivery dates are constantly being pushed back. A poor show from BMW to launch a bike then struggle to supply even at a meagre level.

i think the M stands for mug, i mean how much was that again, jebus. oh and dont forget your service needs screen, which you propbably have to have bmw do the service on to switch the service lights off.
and that noise on start up, no wonder your reving it so people dont hear that cam chain rattle/slap. sounds like a bag of spanners.
see how long it takes for the switch gear and twiddle wheel to start playing up.
i will say though it does look nice, just dont start it up.
