0 to 60 on this bike should be 2.5 or so to 60 mph, I’ve a 2019 s1000r sport & it’s well under 3 seconds I’ve launch controls too but never use it, just floor it up through the quick shifter & the traction control will keep the front down anyway !!

0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds ??? That is very slow.

S1000rr with a akro exhaust, power commander and the right map this thing will kill anything.
my old S100rr was at 191 at the rear tire with just a few touches mentioned above.

Absolutely like it this Vlog, it helps to justify a full set of Akrapovic and to drop the heavy Cat .

Nice vid, as always!
And, oh my gosh, 202hp with stock euro 5 exhaust, what is wrong with this world?!

I'm still amazed at what figures that bike did stock on the dyno. It's a proper feat of engineering, Euro 5 and still only a 1000cc unlike some manufacturers who have gone to 1100 for their road bikes.

Has anyone realized the dyno guy got his left arm chopped and stitched back? You can see the scar... Impressive!

Great video.. really well put together and those results from the stock bike in euro regulations is something special..
I knew the 0-60 times would cause dramas in the comment section but many didn't notice it wasn't at sticky drag strip like Santa Pod with heated slick tyres to get the best time possible, this was a real world environment and you could clearly see the dust kicking up from one of your launches showing the bike struggling to grip!

BMW tends to rate their bikes at the rear wheel but not say so... 202 is at least 215-220 crank... very nice.

Should do a decibel test of the Akrapovic pipe compared to stock. Is it something you can live with day to day, or is an obnoxious [albeit fun] pain in the ass ?

The o2 sensor in these bikes does not effect wide open throttle. They do not compensate anything in open loop.

The sound of that is absolutely awesome compared to the standard.well it's going to be a no no when you're new sound cameras come out on UK roads.

Wasn’t expecting him to be a drag time professional but 4.5 second 0-60 time on these bikes is very slow lol. Should be able to get into the low 3 seconds easily.

Very nice video beautiful bmw s1000rr, with the change in akrapovic you need some change in the bike as more fuel? Wait to see it on track to see how it goes

Did you have any EML on the dash after the exhaust change, looking to do the same “WHEN” I eventually get mine.

I don't know but if its the law for your bike to have a cat is it not being used illegally if you remove it and so your insurance might be invalid or at least give them some excuse not to pay out if you had an accident?
