Jamukha was fighting to maintain tradition and the aristocracy. Temujin was a radical who cared more about the quality of his followers’ character than their heredity. A rivalry between blood brothers had begun.

His childhood friend joining him and then becoming his sworn enemy? I had no idea the past was a well constructed video game plot.

"At the age of 19" Wait, all of this happened in 19 years? I thought that had to be 30 at least!

I think it is admirable that he didn't deny his son.

Great video again, nailed almost everything on it's head. But there was just one thing that I could find of issue;

You underplayed the value of Genghis' essential adoption of Borte's illegitimate son. On the Steppe, children like that would have been left to die under normal circumstances, but Genghis didn't do that. He brought the child in, claimed he was his own and very much treated him as his own son. It just goes to show the actual character of this man, behind the facade of the military leader. And it further pokes holes in the "Genghis is a vicious military leader who killed everything in his path" mindset that's so often blindly accepted.

With the way Temujin's life has been going, you'd swear he was reincarnated as Yi.

In an epic tale, this story would end with their armies clashing into each other and the two leaders searching for each other on the battlefield. And then they see each other. The sounds of battle fade as the two adverseries look each other in the eye. No words come out of their mouth; there is nothing to say. They charge at each other, exchanging weapon blows to test the other's defences. It is clear, they are eaquals. But, in a moment of fate, one slips and the other takes the opportunity to plunge his blade into his opponent's chest. They look at each other one last time. The loser is smiling while the victor is overcome with tears. He gently lays the other down and cries. He did not defeat a rival today. He lost a friend...

I believe I have an idea for a story now...

Born in grief, raised in hate, Khan would use force, cunning and more than a little bit of wrath to unite the land. Genghis Khan was still terrifying and deadly force. He might have not been a cackling, mustache twiddling super villain but he was a terrifying force no matter which way you spin it. Truly an example of a human being
