We actually did talk to a local friend and he always suggested us to go eat where the beer is very cheap. "It means that it's a place for the locals and not a tourist trap!" :D We were there for Valentine's day last year and loved: the costs were very low if compared to other UE capitals!

I've been to the Czech Republic! I went to Prague for a few days and a couple of days in Cesky Krumlov. I found Czech Republic to be cheaper than some of the other countries that I visited on that trip. The beer gardens were quite affordable!

Prices seem pretty good! Always good to find cheap accommodation that is also pleasant to stay in. I always expected Prague to be a lot more expensive for some reason. The tram looks like a fun way to get around in the city but yeah I'd have to hire a car to see more than just the cities :) I always think hire cars are the best way to get around, even if it does extend your budget.

Prague is quite cheap compared to most Central European cities - just be careful not to get ripped off as there are quite a few places which take advantage of tourists

Hell yeah! Now you're talking! Czech Republic is on the list and everybody is always saying that it's cheap but they don't say how much it's was... Haha You had one hell of an airbnb XD!!So I guess that the accomadation and car rental are always the most "expensive" stuff around. After this, eating and drinking is cheap AF.
