SOLIDWORKS 2022 What's New - Simulation

SOLIDWORKS 2022 Simulation offers improved solve time, a brand new connector, and enhanced contact performance. The Nemo frame assembly has several bonded contacts and now in 2022, you can expect solve time to be over 25% faster than of previous releases.

Also new in SOLIDWORKS 2022 is a new linkage rod connector. You can specify cylindrical faces, circular edges or vertices, and also indicate the end conditions by specifying rigid, spherical, or pivot. You’ll also notice that the default mesh type is now the powerful Blended Curvature-Based mesh, which now allows mesh controls. Even with a refined mesh, we see improved solve times, especially with the FFE solver. These Simulation improvements allow you to make better and faster design decisions.

Hello Go Engineer Team,
I am recently working in the CHT(Electronic Cooling) simulation with Fan,
The problem i am facing is the time take to converge the temperature on the elctronics is too long (takes 1000 iterations to converge and my model is quite big), so the time taken for each simulation is too long,
Could you please share some tips to speed up the convergence in a fan model?

Thanks in advance..
