It's time, preppers. Let's break up with the idea of the "bugout bag."

I don't like the concept of bug out bags as most people think of them. They really should be considered an emergency evacuation bag. For any long term #shtf situation, we don't want to be bugging out to the woods, especially if we have a family and small kids. On this channel, we really preach the idea of "bugging in" or staying where you are at as a more realistic prepping plan.

In all seriousness, mike needs to understand that yea tho it may be 72 hours worth of Food, water, and maybe a change of clothes and something for making fire. But how long does mike thing he can go without that. Most people can go a day without food. Let alone 3 with ease. 1v1 if you were humping it to your destination. Your not making it far without somthing to replace those lost calories

Lol. Too funny. I broke-up with with BoB as well 😅 as it was impractical for a suburbanite like me.

Now I have a "Go Bag" & didn't pack it until I had first compeleted a detailed "Area Plan" & had a designated Bug Out Location (BOL). Since my BOL is 10 km down the road (a friend's place) I was able to scale back the weight considerably.
