I am 78 and don’t get out much. My husband has dementia and I care for him. So glad to have your You Tube broadcast. I put on my headphones and go camping with you. Thank you for being here, it makes my day. You are so honest, I just love and live for your broadcast. Thank you again.

Life is indeed very short. I’m a cancer survivor of 11 years. Cancer killed my father and my mother spent the last 3 years of her life in misery. That’s why I retired as soon as I could. You just never know what is ahead. Starship Troopers- they needed better weapons 😊

Life turns on a dime. Because of an accident I'll never camp again - lucky to be alive, but never take for granted simple things like walking around! Get that air and sun whenever you can, you don't know when you may not get the chance again. Thanks to streamers like Luke, people like me get to live vicariously - it brings back great memories (camping was a family thing that i carried into adulthood) and sometimes i swear i can smell the pine!

That thunderstorm sounds awesome in the mountains 😍 we love sitting on the porch when it storms. I've taken the beef jerky and freeze dried bbq and put it in a cup of boiling water to simmer. Life is short, I e been given a second third and fourth chance. I now live every day as if it's my last. I've survived cancer, a brain tumor and two heart attacks, in 15 months.

Hi Luke love your videos! We used to take our 6 kids camping a lot when they were small and listening to the rain and wind whilst sitting safe inside the tent was one of our favourite things about the whole experience! Wat hing you brings back these happy memories of a family time before they all flew the nest...

Luke, I'm a 3 time cancer survivor. This last time with stage 4 I have to take a treatment every other week but I stay in remission. I am planning to do some camping this coming spring and summer and fall. But I'm going to be doing mostly car /tent camping and I see a lot of gear I can use here from your channel. Enjoy your videos, stay safe and may god bless you and your family.

I lost my wife of 29 years to cancer. We had 6 years of warning. While she is still truly missed 9 years later, I'm confident she had a relationship with Christ. I enjoy your videos.

Cancer stuff got me too. Diagnosed at 33. I'm 35 now and cancer free. The treatment really takes a permanent toll, but I guess it's better than the alternative. Did it for my kids.

My late husband and I camped almost every weekend through the warm months. He passed away in 2012 from cancer. I so loved those days in the woods in the NC mountains. Thanks Luke for sharing your adventures.

3:47 Timing the word "Peek" with this shot was some meta-level film work!

I have had a young black bear around my cottage (northeast Georgia). That fool would try to chew anything. He’s older and wiser now. Recently I had a young possum chew through my car engine wiring harness. The joys of the woods. I love your videos. Keep them coming. I’m from the C ration era. Trading and creative were important skills. The Marlboros and peanut butter were great trade items.

Thank you Luke for all your videos, I especially love the multi day snow adventures. Deepest sympathies for the people who have passed, and are sick.

My most heart felt sympathies to those that have moved on to the next great adventure. The last time I saw my Dr. (Last week) they have given me 2 months. I have kidney failure. Haven't done dialysis for a little over 2.5 To anyone that is having kidney problems, and you still have, some, functionality, get a near infrared belt and lay on it. It WILL help allot. Look for LEDs in the 660nm AND 880nm wave lengths. THOSE are the best frequencies. Lay on the belt for 3 hrs a day till you feel better. Pay attention to what your body is telling you. Luke as always, I love your storm videos!!! Like being right there next to you. I was in my tent this summer, in my backyard, and a HUGE storm rolled thru. I had 3" of water running everywhere. But my Snugpak Cave stayed bone dry. Love this tent. Till next video Luke!!!

Dry firewood before it rains would have been my Choice before a chair, and coffee cup.

In the pines, in the pines, where the sun don't ever shine, I would shiver the whole night through. 🎶
