California's plan to force people into green energy submission is off to a terrible start. As the state's Democratic government announces a future ban on the sale of new gas powered vehicles, it's also warning people to stop charging their electric cars at certain times of day. Who would have guessed that a state that has already struggled with blackouts would experience MORE as it gets rid of fossil fuels? But if that wasn't enough, Pat and Stu break down some other inconvenient realities about the EV movement.

My sister-in-law had a cow when I told her she can't charge her car while they were at my house unless she gave me some money for the electricity. She completely amazed me when she said she never thought about where the power came from at the plug-in. Then she said "so that's why our electric bill went up" and looked dumb founded....lol

I read someone say they had family come to visit out of town and ask to plug their car in to charge it. The person was mad because the electric cost was coming out of his pocket. So there is now an issue of common courtesy.

5:54 That's the point I make... 2-3 minutes to fill up a gas car and there are ALWAYS cars at the gas station!!!! How many chargers will be needed when it takes 10x that time to charge an electric?

It is akin to asking those lousy “Green Beans” if they would gas up YOUR vehicle when you came to visit THEM! Same rudeness! So selfish and sleazy! Lived in California for 20 years - got out in 2016 and it was the best decision I ever made. I remember telling my spouse after we left CA that we should have done many years before we actually did. That place is run by a bunch of sick people.

FYI battery packs have to be replaced just north of 100k mileage and costs thousands to tens of thousands if that particular battery pack is still being manufactured when replacement is needed...

If it wasn't for the EPA, we (Northern California) wouldn't of had all those wildfires... it only took 4 to 5 straight years of devastating wildfires for them to start maintaining the brush again...

If my tank is on empty it takes 11 gallons of regular. It takes me less then 5 minutes to fill it up.
