As someone who had a buddy who used to curate at a zoo in Detroit when I tell you most have no idea how massive those lions are until they're that close to you. He once took me to the feeding area where he fed the Lions and when I tell you their eyes!! They are like three times bigger than ours and the most impressive thing about them is when you hear them growl or make noises you quite literally feel it in your chest. I had no idea how impressive they were in until I was like 3 ft away from them at that feeding area behind the plexiglass. It was literally awe-inspiring🤯🤯
