This makes so much sense, in November 2022, I needed to get my radiator changed because of coolant leaking. I have been noticing hard shifts for sometime now and decided to check my transmission fluid today, it is light pink. Not thick, just light pink. When my previous mechanic replaced the radiator I can't remember if he flushed the coolant or not. I will be getting a coolant and transmission fluid flush soon.

I already spent 800 for a new radiator and changed the filter and flushed the Transmission fluid. The car runs good, after they get hot, the Transmissions fluid leaked out through the overflow. It seems a little milky. Only when the Trans very hot ? Is that because there is still some water in the Transmission, so when it is hot, the fluid force the excess water out through the overflow. ? Or why water in the Trans fluid, but radiator and the water tank is clean..no fluid. Thanks.

I saved my transmission. Line broke in radiator and put coolant in trans. Felt funny driving so I had the feeling. Drained the trans and it was full of pink, so got a new radiator, new bigger trans cooler, flushed my trans 5 times till I got all the pink out, still some in the torque converter but whatever. Bypassed the radiator and ran lines from the cooler to the trans and truck(Toyota Tundra), runs great. Going on 7k miles running after break.
