As a Toyota Service Advisor who wishes to help owners service their Toyota appropriately, without being taken advantage of, I wish more owners would watch your channel. Love the content.

Thank you so much! When my husband passed away I thought I should learn about my car so I would make sure it was maintained like it should be. I am so thankful I found your channel. I bought a new 2017 Lexus ES350 and was having the dealer do the maintenance based on their maintenance schedule. Now I know I should be changing the oil sooner than they recommended. When I took my car in last time I told them I wanted to change my oil every 5K/6 months. They told me I didn't need to but they would be glad to take my money. It was so maddening. We only have one Lexus dealer in my area so I feel like I have to take it to them so I have a complete maintenance record in case I decide to sell my car. It would be a good selling point. It's hard to find a good honest mechanic. I'm sure there are some but I don't want to take a chance. At least if something goes wrong and they are the only ones who did the maintenance, I'll know it was them who did it. God bless you!

I want to thank you many times for your wisdom, experience, and most of all honesty for guiding me and your loyal followers to not screw up our DIY service on our cars. Your have saved me many $$$, and my car has performed flawlessly for over 250, 000
miles. I am sure my transmission would have died had I followed dealer recommended service intervals. Sincerely, Jim Carmichael San Diego, Ca.

I finally got to change my trans fluid on my 2016 RAV 4 (45K) It was nasty and only 45 ounces came out! I will be doing it again soon. The factory did this as I bought it new.

A month or 2 ago, I asked my friend when he replaced his ATF WS in 2010 Rav4 with 84k miles and he said, never as it says "not needed to be replaced". Long story short, he is happy that we did replace the fluid as it was pretty black!
