I got out in the woods today with some fiber to do a little fire rolling. I wanted to accomplish a rust in Jute fire Roll. So I wanted to find a couple of sources of rust, a couple top boards (I ended up using 4), a stump for the bottom board, and of course some good tinder like Tulip Poplar.
Be forewarned though, the fiber that I intended to use, Jute, would not ignite so after 3 tries I broke out a cotton ball.

David, I believe the first couple rolls may have absorbed moisture of the top of the log and top board regardless, you get the A like you always do for your outstanding effort. Missed your videos for about a year and look foward to binge watching what you have posted !
