In Power Query, you can create a date range parameter that allows you to filter your data based on a range of dates. This can be a useful tool if you need to analyze a specific time period or track changes over time.

To create a date range parameter in Power Query, you can use the "From" and "To" date parameters. These parameters allow you to specify the start and end dates of the date range that you want to analyze.

Once you have created your date range parameter, you can use it to filter your data in a variety of ways. For example, you can use it to filter your data by a specific date range, or you can use it to group your data by month or year.

Creating a date range parameter can be a powerful time-saving trick in Power Query, as it allows you to quickly filter and analyze your data without having to manually select dates each time.

Music was awesome, although my issue is to get dates less than equal to 60 days of a creation date.. I will search other videos of yours, but this video music really made me love it

Everything is clear, vut for EndDate you didn't do anything. You just filtered values for StartDate and you do all process for StartDate, but main data refreshing also works for EndDate?! How does it possible?!

Microsoft, the most complicated parameter creation you'll find in town. Eh, guess it helps with job protection in the end.

Hi Harry, thanks for this! It works, however, when there are no dates inputted in the parameter field, it does not return any data. In this scenario, I would like it to return all of the data. Any ideas?

Thanks a lot Harry. It seemed like running but the result shows 18 rows loaded and 7 errors. Should I just ignore the errors?

Can you do this exercise with date and hours in the parameter field?

Looks like this might be useful but it's very confusing to follow. It would be much more helpful if there was a narrative. Or at least some subtitles to guide us.

Anyone has a vieo how to do the same in powerBI?

You need to narrate also… not everyone is a visual_only learner
