In this tutorial we will learn how to create start date and end date filter option from a single date field using parameters in tableau. You can also default the date parameter date to current date or latest date in the data set or first dat of the month.

This is really useful! Thank you so much. This problem should not be fixed by "Parameter Actions", and people should use defult setting for parameter instead, which is mentioned in this vedio.se

Thank you I have one doubt that is if I select January month I want to display month and year like January 2023 and previous as December 2022 by the start date and end date if I select February I have to get February 2023 and previous month as January 2023 can you help me with this
