My Bible was MISSING two books?! (Ignatius Bible - RSV-2CE - Large Print - Leather Review)

I wanted to buy a copy of this Bible... The Ignatius website says it is out of stock, and will be available in December 2020.. I much prefer the RSV.... over the NRSV...

I have a pretty good selection of both Catholic and Protestant Bibles. My fav is the New Oxford Annotated Bible with the Apocrypha. It was the required text for those of studying at the Athenaeum of Ohio, located in Cincinnati, Ohio. I was part of the Lay Pastoral. Ministry Program, and earned. an MAR. I still love my Oxford Bible, but now need a much larger font.

I also love my First Editiin Ignatius RSV-CE. I t’s a tattered paperback... I am thinking of having it rebound.

That black Ignatius RSV-CE bible looks like it has a lot of ghosting and it is not line matched. I encountered the same problem with the Scepter RSV-CE large print, paper was too thin and had ghosting and no line matching. Both bibles were printed in Korea. They were good quality bibles but the previous mentioned problems are deal breakers.

Hey. Not sure if you’ve come across it yet, but there’s actually an RSV journaling Bible published by Ignatius! It’s a great Bible, the only downside is that the print isn’t much larger than the zipper version (I have a clear obsession with buying their RSVs 🥴), but it gives you thick pages and so much room to write and take notes!

I have the second Bible you showed in the video, and I love the large print in it.Doesn't have the words of Christ in red, so I went through the Gospels and highlighted them in pink so they stood out better.The only thing is, the paper's a little to thin to attach tabs to.Otherwise I have no complaints.

The company should not charge you a restocking fee- it can't be restocked. The publisher will reimburse them for the misprinting. Great review.

Thanks for the review! I've been hunting for my next purchase. Despite my dislike of the name, I think I'm going to go with the Great Adventure Bible (also RSV-2CE).

I got the GIANT TYPE catholic book publishing bible, it's hardcover and good for those who want larger font.

I know I'm late to the party here...but did you contact Catholic Club? Since this is a faulty book, they should be covering the return and replacement of the book. If not, I wouldn't buy from them again. It's good customer service.
