There should be a montage of Jessica looking salty whenever Elsie does better than her. For those of you who don't know, Elsie won the challenge after this and the rest of them sabotaged her during service, resulting in her getting eliminated. And Elsie didn't accuse them at all, making them feel guilty. If they were competing now, Gordon wouldn't have eliminated her.

For people wondering why head chefs or executive chefs would be preparing dessert items:

1. Not all restaurants have bakers and dessert staff.
2. All staff should have a idea of what the full menu is and how it is prepared
3. If things get backed up during dessert, There can be more people to assist
4. it actually quite difficult to make some items so it does take skill and practice
5. It can be fun!

Never think that head chefs or executive chefs only cook food because many of them also master and make dessert and beverage items also.

He was repaying a kindness, and there is no rule that says the winner of a challenge has to pick the first runner up for a reward. In fact, it is sometimes bad strategy to reward your closest competitor.
