From destroyed homes to shattered lives, these survivors expose the harsh reality of the disaster, and it's worse than you think. Get ready for a heart-wrenching and eye-opening account of the hurricane's impact, as these brave individuals speak out about their experiences.

In this episode, we visit Barnardsville, Waynesville, Asheville, Swannanoa, and Pensacola North Carolina.

I live here in Western NC. When I get a chance to listen to these videos, I’m so thankful! So thankful y’all are lead here. God is bringing His children together even in this pain. I live in Canton, NC. As a Christian, we have seen Christ here, in all the hearts of the people that pray, donate, and come to help. I understand in just Buncombe county 1800 that we know about are gone. So many wonderful people live here, it just breaks your heart! Hurts to think in America, people are left this way! Helicopters flew over my home doing rescue. Every single one of them were private til day 8, I finally saw military and they were never many. God’s people just need each other! My heart is breaking, sending so much love. It’s just me & my Boarder Collie Jax. Im in Australia. If I could jump on a plane & add any value at all, say the word. God speed to you all. In moments of devastation & pain, God has a plan. I’ve lost triplets at 22 weeks & had 2 ectopic pregnancies needing emergency surgery. Sometimes things just seem so harsh & unfair, they don’t make sense, but sometimes they are not supposed to. Much love & prayers xx

Ive shed so many tears for these people! Im in the mountains of Virginia and winters can be brutal! May God be with these people and all who are helping them. Weve donated to a local couple who took a truck load there right after. Who needs the govt when we as Americans come together!!!! May God bless you

Thank you for doing these videos. I live 15 min down mountain from chimney rock and lake lure nc. I feel blessed and guilty that I have a house. The wall of water went up mountain instead of down mountain to us. We have several huge trees down on a section of my fence and we had about 3 inches of water in my house . My town had a lot of wind damage. Lots of down trees. My son is 23 and works the night shift at a factory 30 minutes away. It took him 4 hrs to get home. We cut the trees out of the roads. I broke my arm cutting trees. Lol he drove around for 3 days cutting trees out of the roads and clearing driveways for the elderly and disabled and anyone who needed it. We were over 2 weeks without power. We lost 3 freezers and my fridge full of food. I dont qualify for fema help. $750 wouldn't get 1 trees removed no less fix my fence or replace the food i lost. I was born and raised in southwest Florida. I have been through hurricanes and tropical storms my whole life. I moved to western nc 8 yrs ago. This storm was nothing like the storms I talent through in Florida. I went through Andrew, Charlie, Katrina and others. Nothing like what hit us. They are taking land through eminent domain. Blackrock has a couple camps set us with armed guards. Follow the money. Look at land leases that has been granted to Blackrock or the companies Blackrock ownes. That will tell you all you need to know

Greetings from Wilmington, NC. God has been doing similar things in me recently. After a failed marriage bad relationship He has healed my soul and called me to service, not sure what yet but I'm listening! He is moving across this country in such a great way! Kudos fir following His call ❤❤

I am so heartbroken 💔 😢 by what you have been going through. I'm a Floridian, and what has happened to you is inconceivable and atrocious. From what I can gather, you had 12 inches of rain in two hours. And your local and state government didn't warn you 😤 at all. I have worked heavy equipment cleaning up in WV after this kind of devastation. It was some of the most depressing work I have ever done.
