I would apply and go through the whole process just to turn them down

Can you do a break down of what you expect each level of developer can do? from entry to senior level?

10-15 years of JavaScript experience isn't "entry-level."

Nice one there UncleYes very true. Lets hope some of these HR people would actually take some time and try and understand what it is they are looking for rathern than just throw a wish list of tons of things one needs to know in order to get a foot in...LOL

From what I've been told, this isn't deliberate. Some tracking systems on the market automatically put down Entry Level if no level is specified, when the listing is pushed to LinkedIn. Something to that effect.

They just wanted to pay entry level prices for senior level skill. Don't we all?

Payback - I'd love to write the skill requirements for an HR position...

I saw a video of yours explaining if u need books to learn code and it got me thinking about the books that u use. So can u please make a video showing all the books that u own?

According to that job posting, they can deny anyone for a job for any reason whatsoever. Do they actually want to hire somebody, or do they just not want to pay an applicant what they're actually worth?

React is like 9 years old… how did they expect 10-15 years of “advanced JS such as react”, silly. At least they weren’t expecting experience in god awful Ruby 🤣jk.

Of course this is weird. BUT even for an entry level position you need experience. What do I mean? You don't need years of experience but you need dirty fingers. That means as soon as you begin to learn to code you need to get familiar with code. Try things out. Built websites even if they are ugly in the beginning. By doing this you get comfortable with this creativity process and it boosts you confidence when you see that the browser does what you told him to do. The majority of people think they are not good enough. Getting your hand dirty will help you overcoming this (besides the experience you get).
I started Stefan's Web developer Course (I already finished HTML5 Pro and CSS3 Pro) and at the same time i started the Front-End-Developer Certificate tought by Meta on Coursera. Oh boy, without Stefan's Course i would have quit the Certificate after the first module. But again back to the experience. Even Stefan is a really great teacher (and he uses modern psychological methods to get stuff into your brain...) there is a difference between between watching his lessons, playing with his code and trying your own stuff by applying what you learned. Like Morpheus said:

"There's a difference between knowing the path and walking the path"

Developers dont get any respect these days, even 15 years is being considered as entry level, at some point after hopefully making some money you need to move on to other endeavors.

Not a typo. They want to pay an experienced developer an entry level wage. Really it's a "Freudian slip". I'd consider it a waste of my time to apply.
