not getting notifications for comments or replies to comments Fixed

In this video, I'll show you how to notification on the comments that you've made when someone has replied to your comments. For some reasons, I wasn't notified of replies to my comments. The solution is to go to the settings, then to notifications and then there is an option to get notified on your comments reply!

OMG YouTube what the F is wrong with you when you disable something like this by default?? Here I thought I got on some kind of blacklist or censorship thing because for all my many comments, not a single reply in weeks and weeks. Then I went back to a thread I'd been commenting in and found replies there. This makes me wonder how many replies I'll never see, thanks to this complete dumbassery on YouTube's part. I used to get notifications and all of a sudden they stopped. It certainly wasn't me who turned that switch off. Here's to hoping that this is the fix. Cheers!

I always used to get notifications and likes on my comments, but no more. I went to settings/notifications like you say here, and in fact I have the replies option turned on, yet still I get no upvotes on my comments, and no replies when every other comment in the string or time around mine does. What next?

Great tutorial. I fixed all these things but Youtube still consistently fails to notify me of at least 10 comments a month. I don't see them until I'm responding to a new comment on the same video. no email.. no bell..nothing...I hate it cuz I don't want people to feel like I ignored them... must be a youtube glitch. I don’t get any notifications since about 2 days I checked the settings and they are all activated. I also got replies to my comments and was even mentioned by name but still don’t get any notifications anymore.
