Fix: WhatsApp Notifications Not Working! [Home Screen & Status Bar]

Some users have told us they are not getting notification from WhatsApp on their iPhone. After doing some extensive research we have found some easy and effective ways to fix this problem. In this video you see those ways to fix WhatsApp notification not working problem on iPhone.

We are using a iPhone 12 for this video purpose, but these methods will work on all iPhones running on latest iOS.

It works!! I have this issue for one month already. After watching this video, apparently there is one step I have not done i.e. reset whatsapp notification setting then shut down my iphone. The issue is solved right after turning on the phone. Thank you so much 🙏🙏

Evan after doing all these I am not receiving notifications. Its being delayed for about 5-10mins sometimes I may get notifications the very moment I receive the text. I am not receiving call notifications also.

I have a serious problem in notification settings i dont even whatsapp option to make changes while my in app notification settings are all on
And in my in app notification settings i see a mesg regarding WhatsApp notification are disabled i can share a screenshot also

When I go to setting of iPhone and open notifications, I can’t find whatsapp app in the list like you did.

My wife’s iPhoneXR did the same. We checked all the settings, everything fine. We then deleted WhatsApp altogether and re-installed, and the problem was solved.

On my notifications list, Whatsapp isn’t there, so there’s no way for me to check if notifications are enabled on there. Any reason why that might be?
