My outlook account has time sensitive notifications and they are delivered instantly. The mail app doesn’t have this feature and only shows email when I manually update the app?

I hope this fixes my issue… some emails from specific people were giving me a notification, but the vast majority were not. I discovered that alerts were enabled for VIP but not in general! Thanks for the video!

mine was different so if this didn’t work for you: go to the Mail app in settings > Notifications > Customize Notifications (on very bottom) and choose the account you want with notifications and boom

Ok it’s works like that guys :
My Hotmail was not sending any notification for many days :

Go to inbox then setting ⚙️ then notifications when the notification it’s open it’s automatically will ask you if you want to allow outlook to send you notifications say YES 😊.
This at least how I did it just 5 min ago on my new iPhone 13 .

The real fix that worked for me was not this video, but i simply set my mail of choice as default. Settings -> Mail -> scroll down to Composing and find Default account -> choose the account you want to be notified about, because there are probably more mail accounts on your iPhone.
