More than 8,000 calls purchased, only 11 days before expiration

Today we saw a trader buy over 8,000 Ciena Corp (CIEN) November 30th, 2018, $34 Calls for $.50. This gives the trader the right but not obligation to buy almost 800,000 shares of CIEN between now and November 30th expiration. For this right, they paid $.50 per lot or almost $400,000 in total. That's a large order, especially considering that Ciena Corp (CIEN) has only traded 1,650,000 shares today. This is the power of Insider Buyer in the options market.

I love this trade in CIEN and I took a very big position in these Calls. I have made over $8500 Profits this year trading this stock in weekly options. There are two things that I do not like about the trade: 1. These only have 11 days until expiration so this trade is high risk/high reward and 2. The SDATR is only $.29 a day. With that said, I am still long these Calls.
