Meeting my mum 6 months after her death

On Sunday 22nd June I had what was for me was the extremely moving experience of meeting my mum, almost 6 months to the day after her death. I recorded an account of it the day after so that I wouldn't forget exactly what happened and how it felt.

Since that experience I have felt raw and internal, needing to be as still as possible and retire into a private space. Now a few weeks have passed and I feel ready to share what happened with you, in the spirit of openness ... one explorer of life to another.

When I made this recording it was primarily for myself, so it's a bit long and rambling. However I hope it may be of some value to you on your life-journey.

Aloha Tim. I so enjoyed your recounting of the profound experience with your mum. I also feel connected with my mother, father and dear friends who are on the other side. Loved the way you shared your experience of "you in them and them in you". That is deep and rich! There do seem to be more and more of us making that connection through the veil. Thank you so much for this beautiful sharing.  Bless your mom for organizing the  lovely day at the spa so you could be together like this!  A few years ago I had the privilege to be with my mom as she was passing.  Interesting then and also now as you speak about ones possible inquiry, when we die, into if we had loved enough.... the last thing my mom said ... out of the blue as she was dying was:.... "love can only go so far..." and by this I feel that she was engaged with this very inquiry into if she had loved enough.  My mom's remark at the time brought me tremendous peace and relief and was to me a beautiful confirmation that everything is ok.  Love is always present.... at any given moment, we give what we can.

May we all come to this knowledge and bring that loving, deepest part of us through into this world where its desperately needed.

Hi, Tim. I thank you for sharing your experience and your feelings with me (among so many others...not relatives). It has been a real priviledge. I didn't know your mother and I don't know anything of you except, of course, your social...public persona. But you sound absolutely ...true, as your experiences. So many questions come to mind when thinking of experiences like yours...Perhaps it's our ( I mean :we human beings) destiny to die knowing nothing of the place where we're heading. Perhaps we'll meet, sooner or later, on the other side.

Wow that sentence needed clarity.  You have s skeleton in your relationship corner (L side).  Maybe not a good place for it.
