If you’ve never heard this guy sing, check him out… probably THE most underrated and under appreciated vocalist of all time.

“Everybody’s talking at me” from midnight cowboy is a gem. 😊

I never realized that he died so young. I remember his songs, they were memorable.

I've loved Harry since 9th grade! My friends and I got a little buzzed and we'd sing "Without You". The only way we could hit the high notes❤❤😂

I've always loved Harry. I'm sad for him that he was such a tortured soul, and by that I mean he had so many demons. But his talent shone through. I'm so glad we have his beautiful voice that we can still listen to. Rest easy Harry, and thank you.

I was introduced to him as a child from watching The Point. Still love that soundtrack. ❤️

The Point was a major milestone to me as a nine year old boy in 71. I wasn't quite sure what I was watching, but I was diggin it!
I had the house to myself, a big bag of Nacho Doritos and a 2 liter bottle of Coke. I was set. :-)
That and 'Jump into the Fire'... He was one of my faves for several years!

Extremely good songwriter and had the feel of the day, so to speak.

The first song of his I ever heard was for one of my favorite TV shows in 1968: “The Courtship of Eddie’s Father.” There’s a sweetness to it that is heartwarming. Liza Minnelli sang one of his songs with so much soul: “Everybody’s Talking.” Both very much worth a listen! ❤

52 years-old, isn't technically "old" these days. But, he partied hard with the best of them. I think his greatest moment was the falsetto in "Without You."

I saw him in a 1969 role on Ghost And Mrs. Muir. Storm forced Harry had to spend the night at Gull Cottage. Played some acoustic and was a real goodie two shoes back then.

Good quick bio. There’s a lot more to him than what is told here in just a few minutes. In 1967, Harry Nilsson signed a recording contract with RCA Victor. The contract was worth $5 million, which was the largest recording deal in history at the time. Adjusted for inflation, the contract is worth around $36 million today.
