Thank you so much for this easy to follow guidance video. I've never know how to use until today and I did it first time thanks to you. My machine was given to me by a lovely friend of my Mum. For those new to this like me getting stuck around 1:05

The beige thread lever that you push actually has a very tiny metal Hook that passes through the eye of the needle when it turns. I did not notice this at first but you'll see on your own device it's VERY small and the pointy part faces downward to catch the thread.

If you pause really quick at 1:11 notice how the thread is both in FRONT of the needle and below the tiny metal hook (that is pointing out of the screen, with the pointy part facing downwards). Make sure your thread is BELOW this hook so that it Catches it, and then begin to release on that beige lever you've been holding onto for so so long 🤣

Hopefully this somewhat helps lol. I had to re-watch it a couple times but I eventually got it lol 🤣
