The incident mirrors recent headlines surrounding Travis Scott’s ‘Astroworld’ Festival, where 8 people tragically lost their lives due to a massive crowd surge.

According to Deal, Diddy made last-minute adjustments to the security detail and minimized the number of guards controlling the outside. He recalled the event being oversold and the massive crowd causing a stampede once Mike Tyson and LL Cool J arrived. As a result of the stampede, nine people died and dozens more were injured. The event also led to Diddy's firing from Uptown Records.
