Watched this video to understand what the term "DNA Cloning" means and how that's done with the help of recombinant DNA technology.

Got to know that it's reproducing of the desirable genes/sections of DNA with the help of certain restriction enzymes, DNA ligase, and the host bacteria that supplies plasmids to attach the target genes and then reproduces them.

This video also clarifies the question - "How to engineer microorganisms?" - for which I have seen other videos earlier (insulin production as a case in point)
