The United States began its sanctions program against Russia in earnest in 2014. Although those sanctions have continued to evolve over the last nearly ten years, U.S. Government actions this week are the most consequential escalation of those sanctions. Detailed specifics of the sanctions are trickling out from the U.S. State, Treasury, and Commerce Departments. This session will help to make sense of these new actions and steps U.S. companies should take to ensure compliance.
