How to Colorize Black and White Images in Photoshop

Another method is to use a gradient map. Left side is the shadows, right side is highlights. Use more saturated colors in the shadows and less saturated in the highlights. U can then get slightly different hues of color which makes skin etc look far more realistic. invert mask and paint white where u want to apply the gradient.

Never knew converting a black and white image would be this easy.Tried watching multiple YouTube videos on how to convert b/w image to colour, even applied few but each of those process seemed very lengthy nd tiresome nd did not work that well for me but then I found this tutorial..Must say this is the easiest way to convert and the work is done within a very short time and great results 👍.very impressive 😁.. looking forward to more such tutorials.
