Not surprised at stock X fakes. Just don't buy on resale market. Just take the L and move on the next shoe, if you really want it go to proper resale store

Anytime you send them a fake shoe to authenticate they keep them and then resale them as real. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

True story... A major Canadian retailer, whose not know for Js had a random posting on their site for Jordan 1 Highs the red and black with the white midsole. It was priced what Jordans were regularly priced for and so I ordered. Later that day to recheck the site I did not find the shoe, though it appeared it was sold out.
When they arrived and I got the show in my hand, there was something off... the stitching at collar was unfinished and material I could see in the shoe looked nothing like any of the Jordan 1 I had broken down had.
I realized that it was not an authentic shoe, as Jordan's QC would have caught this. When I called the merchant they said I would have to return it at my cost... so I kept them.
But I realized that if an unauthorized pair can make it through a major seller's pipeline, no one was safe.
The Stock X story just confirmed what I knew and sadly I would not be surprised if there are a lot of "authentic" shoes that are actually fakes.

I’ve bought in stockx like a lot of pairs of jordans and yeezy. I’ve sold almost every pair i bought from stockx and i have/ had no problem selling it on ebay. 🤷🏻 maybe i got lucky for all those shoes lol

I had mixed experiences with StockX. Sometimes there were sneakers where at least quality control from the manufacturer had failed. I couldn't tell 100% whether they were really fake. I'm lucky enough to live in the EU where there is a legal right of return, including StockX, so i often just returned the sneakers in doubt.

Ngl us rep buyers also have our own headaches.

Sometimes we encounter rep sellers who bait and switch our preferred batches for lesser quality batches due to stock limitations

But tbh, I'd rather have a bait and switch reps on reps than pay scalp pricing on StockX that are actually reps

Also if the shoes are made in the same factory whether they're fake or authentic then how the heck could any authenticator tell if it smells different when it's made in the same factory

Just like the chicago unions, the early mock ups were the best. The unc stiching ruined the chicagos and the bred, black toe collar instead of the neutral grey is going to ruin the fragments. Its not that its bad but they were both better before

You know what’s funny? There’s people out there that buy shoes from Nike, return them fake shoes, and then Nike then re sell those fake pairs back through their stores / online. Which means they don’t even authenticate their own product 😂 brilliant.
