Part 3 of the C1 Advanced (CAE) Use of English exam consists of WORD FORMATION. This part of the C1 Advanced Use of English paper requires you to transform a word in order to make it fit into a sentence. In order to do this correctly you must understand what type of word you are dealing with, understand what type of word you need to transform it into AND understand the meaning of the sentence/text. This part of the Use of English exam therefore tests your grammar and vocabulary. Thanks, but wouldn't it be better if you 'd shown some more complicated variation of the Word Formation exercise?
UPD: I'm an upper-intermediate learner of English and I've managed to get about 60% of correct answers. No doubt during the exam there would be a lot more hard exercise:)

I passed my FCE exam in 2021, but I was upset that back then, I got grade C with 170 points.
I will have the CAE exam in a little bit less than a month. I am anxious not only about passing, but I really would like to have grade B or A. I'm also scared that if I worry too much about getting grade A, I end up not even passing at all...
God, I'm scared. I'm gonna study like crazy!!!
