I’d say you don’t but I’d really recommend like seeing a full tutorial on any programming language. It just makes you feel more comfortable during the classes and teaches and reminds you fundamental things that you might’ve overlooked.

I’m on episode 3 as a COMPLETE beginner to computers and the way he starts from “scratch” (see what I did there?) makes it SO easy to learn! I am having trouble halfway through episode 3 and I’m taking a step back and learning html now for general knowledge to hopefully get me through. I really hope I make it through the class and can take it for a certificate next time around!

I have no programming experience, only html and thats not even a language. Spent over 6 months (cuz i had other stuff to do and had cs50 in my leisure time cuz i was doing this back at summer before college starts) and it was hella worth it. Saved my 3 terms FR

Don't let this TikTok video fool you into thinking that this course is easy AT ALL.
Sure you don't need any prior coding program but having at least a few months of coding experience will help a TON.
The course starts off with arguably one of the hardest languages C and can really throw you off with how quickly the psets become technical. week 0, 1 are nothing.
Keep grinding and ask for help in the discord if needed, GL

I have no prior CS experience too. I have started to watch these lectures 6 days ago. First two lessons one were okay but when ı watched the third lecture called ''Arrays'' I was like what is going on here xD There were lots of codes on the screen. I felt like everybody understood what is going on there but me. How can ı understand all of these instructions without any prior experince? Should ı study some code languages first or did I miss something on 2. lecture ? Do you guys have any advice for me ?

Professor malan is a great professor but the only issue is that he thinks students know stuff about coding. They introduce their own Cs50 library which is completely absurd. Instead of teaching students basic C, they plan to give students a hard time but teaching them unnecessary C library

I want to get a core electrical engineering job done I did my major in it, but INDIA is too much dependent on foreign investments from IT sector, so I am forced to learn externally from such sources about programming.

If you want a extra edge then it's required otherwise, mathematics is well enough to clear your concept
