You last two videos have been excellent for drawing in public. Thanks for the measurement tips, I had never thought to do that as people tend to move so unexpectedly. Thank you for sharing this advice.

Those point references are very helpful for getting the proportions, but this will need a lot of practice in my case!

2023 resolution: keep a sketch journal of things I mostly see in public. I'm a beginner, but these videos are putting me at ease. I am kind of perfectionist by nature, but it's sinking in that these are just sketches and by definition are not meant to be perfect.

I think it's very interesting, that you're sketching with outlines. I'm currently trying to learn how to draw and the standard advice is to always try blocking in the basic forms (cylinders, boxes, spheres), which make the character and then draw on top of these. Is that something you've also done, while learning? Or have you always focused more on outline copying?

Thanks Sir! I learnt the way you draw and enjoying it a lot. But instead of watercolor wash I m using color pencils. But effect is great. Thanks again.

These are proportioned out so well ...just amazing. However, I feel it would be so much easier to use pencil and eraser. I like when you color them in, as well.

Nice! The Uni-Ball pen is thrifty and effective, but we wonder if you have a preferred brand for pigmented or India ink sketching pen?

brilliant, i see lot of artists are now using ink over pencil, also sketching with outlines, is a great way for a beginner to start sketching but with a pencil you can wipe out if you make a mistake will ink wipe out?cheers
