Very interesting perspective- As one who was an LHP practitioner I had a devotion to Hekate that was actually pretty incredible (especially when she said to me “I absolve you of your fealty to Jehova”)Yet as one is currently on the lightworker/starseed path (you can’t fight the awakening when it finds you) I had a period of strife within myself regarding her veneration and cooperation because of her overtly demonic cooperation.

However, I have been rethinking this lately and it seems to me the lightworker community has missed something “key.”

To be a lightworker is to fundamentally bring people hope and awakening to their true potential while also severing toxic negative spiritual ties. But look at what we are describing- this is SHAMANiSTiC work at root. And sorry, but to be a shaman, you have to have a foot in all the worlds. You must know the paths to Helheim and Purgatory, you must know the paths to the stars, and you must know the paths walked by devils and angels. This does not mean you adhere to their politics, nor does it mean you adopt their psychology (demons have an OCD self-victimization mentality coupled with short-sightedness). It means you see through their eyes, know where they live, and know the paths by which those who wish to, may leave them behind.

But this is exactly what Hekate is perfect for. World Soul, Drakaina, Goddess of the Crossroads, keybearer.

This is a relationship you want to cultivate as a lightworker, as a shaman who is not LHP in my opinion.

Because fundamentally the Shaman is the missing link between the psychologist and the Magician. And even there, there can be a spectrum. You could be shamanistic in a passive sense, via energetic and spiritual diagnosis and direct people to psychological help, or in an active sense and take the initiative to providing magical help, or balance the two, as I would recommend. There are entities that don’t even want to be looked at passively. They still can be, but you have to observe them carefully through “reflections” and smoke and mirrors, in a magical sense.

That said- I think serious lightworkers are shamans who know how to walk the shadowy paths of the Valley of death and yet retain hope and lead the willing back out, keeping their candles lit as beacons. And I don’t see Hekate objecting to that. That’s the difference I would say.

Hi beautiful ! I’m moon child
I was looking for moon goodness to do spells and discovered Hekate last week. I started working with her and her results left me in shock. since then I can't stop thinking about her and honoring her. she hekate showed me this video. I have a heavy metal key that I got from a house that was moving and I liked the key. I had it saved. I have cleaned the key with salt and incense and I have placed it on the altar of Hekate. Any recommendation?
