How to use Interval Notation (parentheses) & [brackets] ALGEBRA

When you solve algebraic inequalities, youโll get a range of answers instead of just one number. In that case, you can visualize the solutions as an interval on the Real Number Line. To learn more about using the Number Line to draw intervals (using open & closed circles), watch this video:
But there's another kind of notation you can use instead
When you want to draw out an interval represented by a less than sign or a greater than sign, meaning the number is NOT included in the interval, you use an open circle. When you want to include the endpoint (representing a less than or equal to sign, or a greater than or equal to sign), you use a closed circle.
