Remember, Molag Bal created vampires out of sheer spite. When he was told that his dominion over mortals would always be subservient to the inevitable fate of death itself, Molag Bal gave his creations immortality so that death couldn't steal them.

Oh my word, so according to the Khajiit Mehrunes Dagon is the embodiment of the kid who builds an impressive city out of his toys only to then pretend to be a rampaging monster to knock it all down!

Peryite is underappreciated. Peryite is basically the head maid or hyper competent assistant who makes sure everything is running smoothly, running around making sure everyone and everything is working and doing thier jobs and sleeps maybe one hour a day.

He is considered "weak" because he's usually far too busy to bother interacting with the mortal world, so we rarely see him or his actions.

TES has some of the best and richest mythology/cosmology lore in any fantasy setting I've ever come across. I'm always down for more stuff from TES

Hermaeus Mora was sold so short in Oblivion, but Skyrim made him easily become my favorite Daedric Prince. Next to Sheogorath and Clavicus Vile, of course. Hopefully we can explore more realms of Oblivion in TES 6.

I'd enjoy a look into the relationships BETWEEN Daedric Princes; (perhaps even lesser daedra for that matter) which Princes dislike others, or enjoy their company and why.

Or why events like what happened to Jyggalag aren't more common. do the 16 wish to avoid heavy conflict, are they simply too powerful, are they constantly on the defence waiting for an assault? Perhaps Peryite was the last to try, or even once much more powerful, and thus he has "earned" his position as touched on in the video.

I hope that Jyggalag finally is fleshed out as a full daedric prince in TES:6 since he has seperated from Sheogorath during the last graymarch.

I like to think that Herma Mora's knowledge in his Black Books doesn't drive someone insane, per se. More that it lifts the veil of what that person perceives is reality and gains a higher existence of thought, understanding the world in such a way that their actions *seem* insane to the 'normal peoples' but is the true truth to how to live, think, and act.

I point to Septimus Signus in Skyrim as a case-in-point. He *seems* insane but also clearly shows an uncanny intelligence in things that, while we may not be able to unravel, pulls at your mind in such a way to wonder what truth he may be speaking.

I zoned out a little in Azura but as soon as you said "gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss", I got whiplash

Love those shiny statues for each Daedric prince, they're such an eye candy when you find them in game, highly recommend them, they add to the environment a lot, can't wait for the updated Daedric princes videos!

A new series of videos explaining the lore in a more in-depth fashion would be sick!

I have the base foundation of a theory regarding the relationship between the aedra and daedra. The premise is that each of the nine divines (counting Shezarr in place of Talos because who cares) has two daedric counterparts. Of course, we are missing an extra daedric prince to make the numbers work out, but whatever.

For example, Julianos's counterparts are Hermaeus Mora and Sheogorath because all three gods are built around the idea of the power of the mind. Julianos represents the "good" aspects of knowledge, education, and wisdom, whereas Mora and Sheo are taking those things too far and suffering the consequences.

In a similar vein, the "outdoors" gods are Kynareth for all the pleasant and happy things in nature, while Hircine and Peryite are the wild and ugly sides.

We've got Dibella being reflected in Mephala and Namira, being perversions of sex and the decay of once-beautiful things.
And Zenithar's work ethic is squandered by Sanguine going out and partying or wealth being stolen instead of earned with Nocturnal.

I could list out all the ones I've pieced together, but that would be wasting time because I don't really have anywhere to go with it other than "hey, look at these tenuous connections I made." There's no *So what?* for me to pull out of this, but I think there _is_ something here.

I love that you used Mandragorasprouts’s Daedra Statues. They really add ambience and atmosphere to the world.

6:20 I like how the subtle nod towards Tolkien orcs originating from elves is given here, in Elder Scrolls it being the orcs god a product of the elven.

The daedric princes are awesome because they’re not afraid to make themselves known yet they still have an air of mystery despite that. They actually interact with the player and give you cool items

Daedric Prince of Memes was just perfect as a description for Sheogorath 😂

I actually really like Malacath now, your description of him really helped me to understand how unique the Orcs are, since I've always just considered them another race, nothing different.
