One thing just to keep in mind, some guys are just shy/nervous. Some guys are really afraid of that possible rejection. So he battles with himself trying to overcome that or wait for her to give a strong enough signal to make a move.

Correct advice would have been :
With so many things going around boys these days would be more nervous to ask a girl on date.

So if you like a guy, there is nothing stopping you or there is no disrespect in you asking the guy out.

All I got from this is that a woman shouldn't ask a man out because it's not her job. A man should be the one to do it according to Steve. Gonna be a lot of lonely women then. Regardless of your gender, a closed mouth doesn't get fed.

How do you ask a guy out? The same way he asks you out. It's that easy. The worst a girl can say is no. Same applies to women. Worst he can say is no. If it's such a simple process, then do it. Doesn't matter who asks who out. Read the situation and make a move. Rejection isn't an excuse because no one likes to be rejected.

At, just turned 61, I'm dating again. The widowed men of my generation are the most polite, kind. The divorced are usually the rudest and pushiest.
