Finding the length of a ski lift

To find the length of the span of a proposed ski lift from P to Q, a surveyor measures angle DPQ to be 25 degrees and then walks off a distance of 1000 feet to R and measures angle PRQ to be 15 degrees. What is the distance from P to Q.

Why did you decide to do this the long way when you had law of sines that you could use from the beginning? I think your method is great if the question asked for the height from D to Q, otherwise, that work is completely unnecessary and inefficient of your time.
