C9 in first season with Blaber they won every game in first half of summer because of a new play style. It was super successful until other teams understood it and how to counter it. Unlike C9 from 2 years prior LS is not going to stagnate in one style. He's going to keep changing drafts and play styles. I think he's idea is to practice multiple styles with off-meta champions. They will have more practice in matchups involving enchanters and force everyone else to adapt. They will always be ahead if people can't catch up

I don't like Nemesis' character and I'm personally glad he isn't on C9

I don’t think Nemesis can join C9 even if he wanted to due to the import rule. Unless he was in the scrim partner situation like Zven.

On top of that, he’s been kind of down with competitive. I don’t see him returning anytime soon

Nemesis said he was offert a academy spot, not Main roster. That's why

nemesis already said that he was offered an academy spot not a lcs starting spot. on top of that with the way the lcs team is now, he would be in the same boat as zven. He would be under contract not even playing in academy, but participating in all of the scrims.

In universe when Nemesis joines C9, roster would be totally different. Fudge, Blaber Nemesis, Import ADC, Vulcan. Which does not have the same cealing as current C9 roaster and LS would not coach that roaster

Not really sure what happened with nemesis. Guess they didn't offer him enough for him to consider dropping out of content creation. Also I get the weird feeling he and LS are not on good terms since a few months ago

You could look at it in the way that you have to learn meta and off meta champions which is time consuming. Or you can only learn off-meta champions. Play forward thinking drafts and counter matchups. Jerm it's a good take. But honestly if they beat EG which is a top 3 team after only 3 days practice it's unlikely they will do worse after more practice.

I think he's just joking, he was willing to play lulu mid in worlds, as well as Seraphine mid during scrims vs T1 academy.

It's probably for a different reason that he didn't go to C9.
