if(formatDate(now(), "MMMM YYYY") == formatDate(prop("Date"), "MMMM YYYY"), prop("Amount"), 0)
here y'all go! He changed the semicolon at the end to a comma. Hope this helps!

Yes, this was what I was looking for in Budget Tracking. Gonna work on it now. Thanks for the tutorial. BTW here's the formula the guys below keep passing on top:

if(formatDate(now(), "MMMM YYYY") == formatDate(prop("Date"), "MMMM YYYY"), prop("Amount"), 0)

I just downloaded Notion & was about to work on my personal finances. I decided to start with something I actually need at the moment as a starter. Even though I blindly followed the tutorial & wasn't sure what each steps meant, the result is awesome!!

For those wondering why the categories table is not updating when you insert a new month of expenses; you have to actually wait for the new month to come around in real time for the categories to reset.

When I manually changed my date in my settings to check it worked ><

Very useful budget database. Only recommendation moving forward would be to slow down what you are saying. It was way too fast. I had to adjust my video playback settings. Is there a way to change the Notion color choices to something more vibrant, and have a wider palette?

For people like me who is having error on "Overview" thing, here is the formula. For me the formula input isn''t same as Easlo. I hope this helps.

Budget")*100)/100

Thank you so much for the professional template tutorial! It has greatly assisted me in learning how to effectively use this tool. I just have one small note: during the demonstration, it might be better to minimize navigating through the menus too quickly, which would help viewers follow along more easily. Overall though, the video was fantastic and extremely helpful. Thanks again

Formulas don't work anymore with the syntax in the video after the changes to Notions formula structure. It does work if you simply click on the Properties from the list below and assume it contains [ prop("Name") ] without the brackets. Therefore, don't add extra parentheses like I did.

Can you please make an update video addressing the changes notions made with this budget tracker? I can’t figure out how to finish the tracker because of things being different now

If you could create a bi-weekly version of this budget it'd be a game changer!
