Hi i am replacing my old halogen wall switch to a modern dimmer switch my wiring is Brown ( live) and Blue (neutral) plus earth. I notice on the new dimmable wall switch the connections are for Live but, what would be the neutral conn is referred to in the wiring instructions as " Switced Live", do i connect the Blue wire to the Switched Live?

I replaced lights with LED and found the existing dimmer switch is not compatible, any suggested brands for dimmer switches? not many options I can see online. Can a dimmer switch control mix of LED and incandescent lights?
