EU promises 'robust' response to Trump car tariffs

The EU has said it's preparing a "robust, calibrated" response to new US import tariffs.

Speaking at the commission earlier, Olof Gill said the EU is prepared to "safeguard" their economic interests.

This tells me how scared the EU is that America is about to send tariffs to them.
If you wanted to build the relationship up and not tear it down, than you would be making an agreement or explaining why you have tariffs on the US, and how we can resolve it. Instead you want to make threats only because the US is standing up for themselves and you've been walking all over them for years....
