This is a good example of higher order thinking. Upgrade your thoughts to get better grades.

For case analogizing, it's a good idea to ask your professor if they want it. My Civ Pro professor wanted it, Torts professor didn't mind, but wouldn't give points for it, and Contracts professor said don't bother. It's better to not waste time doing it if you won't get points for it, so just ask how your professors feel about it

How about this? In a public policy argument in a torts remedies exam where the business creates a nuisance but also a lot of much needed local jobs that would be lost if shut down. Instead of saying "The fact that jobs would be lost is important" or "It is favorable to the business that it creates jobs" both of which are conclusory, draw the logical inference that those with such jobs would be paying taxes back into the local community and be supporting it that way. I think you get the picture, ask yourself what it is about that fact that is relevant to the resolution of the case, ask yourself WHY?

Any advice for improving performance on multiple choice questions? My school utilizes a hybrid of MC/essays for finals. I feel much more confident in my ability to write about it than I do in my ability to pick the right answer choice.

-BGEs auswendig lernen (als Beispiele)
- Schön formatieren (viel Abstand! Und nummerieren!)
- Argumente = Fakten + Gesetz + Erklärung
- issue, rule, analysis, conclusion
- Sich nicht direkt auf eine Seite stellen und nur für diese Seite Argumente sichen
