Today's topics include:

1) Ukraine and Russia grain deal, helping alleviate hunger for millions of people

2) The role of traditional media and social media in manufacturing consent

3) Alternative media based on citizen journalism, that is collaborative

4) The timeline of the events in Ukraine, and how war could have been avoided.

5) Proxy wars, nuclear escalation, and much more.

As usual, feel free to make clips from any part of the video and re-share them anywhere, as long as you retain the context of the clip.

Interesting style of interview. Something different. I like it

25:50, as always, I agree with Noam Chomsky on that. Just recently I saw a picture of a bridge by a layman protesting against the "ineptitude" of the construction workers of a bridge, whithout realizing that the gap he was outraged about was actually something used in construction for movement and longevity of big concrete objects called "Gerber joint".
People might misinterpret data and panic over wise decisions and stay calm over spurious reasoning or insidious actions or inventions.

I would rather listen to Noam Chomsky alone with the topics. Anyway thanks for uploading.

very irritating style of video and interview. can you maybe keep to one webpage at a time? maybe follow a timeline of some sort? idk ... understand that when Chomsky talks about the "insight" of good journalistic analysis that goes beyond crowdsourcing he isn't talking about the kind of access journalism you hold up against his point, but about general knowledge and piecing together those fractions of the situation, which crowdsourcing may provide and is already providing?!

also the story of maidan doesn't start in February 2014 but at the latest in November 2013 ... but you really need to dig through the 5 billion dollars of funding for pro-western efforts in Ukraine by the US gov alone and then develop your conclusions from there, as well as information about other color revolutions. the brits and germans also do their part ... calling yanukowitsch a Russian puppet is also a bit much. there were good reasons for rejecting the eu+imf deal that go beyond Russian influence over yanukowitsch... etc etc etc

im really sick of you crypto people honestly.

also that Zelensky advisor only became one in 2020 you could've made that clear. anyone who, like him, studies theology and psychology and then goes on to be a motivational trainer for the military is obviously a psycho. if Zelensky appoints people like this months after getting into office, he either went insane himself, for some reason completely overcommitted to a hard-liner approach, got pressured by the nazis or all of the above. given this guys work on propaganda and motivating people for the war he probably made some very good friends in high places who helped him get to where he got.

anyway. not good.do better
