This was so fun!! I wish I was more hyped up about the eagle, but I just couldn't believe I hit a tree and somehow it worked out... Best (luckiest) shot I've ever hit!

Cheap par 3 courses are the bomb for working on irons and contact. The course name is awesome too 😂

There is something so charming about these courses, there is one like this by me that I practice on and depending on the day its empty so you have the ability and time to make a couple circuits and drop balls around and practice shots/chipping/pitching etc.

Its raggedy, there are tire marks on the 7th green that have yet to be fixed in the 2 years I've been playing there and some greens have huge patches of sand like this course, but damn if it isn't fun and a great way to practice and learn for beginners.

It's unfortunate they don't have the funds to improve the course. It's a nice layout and the dudes running it are super cool. If they could just get some financial backing they could really have something there.

I'm a beginner, and I play this course at least once a week before work. At the beginning of the summer I bought a 10 round punch card for $70! You just can't beat that. The land is actually owned by the city of Mesa, but I guess they lease it to the Stripe Show. Thanks for the video and nice hole out on #4.

Epic course.
We had a course like that in Texas.
I remember my boss taking us all out for a game, and one of my coworkers was constantly complaining about how trashy it was.
My boss finally told him that the course is fine, and if he's only good on pretty, manicured courses, then he doesn't have real golfing skills.
To add insult to injury, he asked my coworker if he was only good when things were perfect and if he needed to question his ability to handle situations with the company.

The complaining stopped, and we all had a blast.

Courses like these are rare and epic if you can see them for their worth.

I grew up near this course, used to be called Fiesta Lakes. My dad worked for one of the owners and we used to play for free. I used to play it quite a bit in high school in the 90’s. I stopped by when visiting my parents a couple years back, I think it wasn’t long after the current group took it over, to hit some balls at the range. The guy in the pro shop said he was one of the owners, and he was very nice, saying they had big plans to bring the course up to par lol. Hope this helps them out. Would hate to see this end up as another apartment complex in Mesa.

Just played this course this morning and this video randomly showed up in my feed! Honestly had a great time, and you can't beat $15 for a round of golf.

Grew up on this course back in the 90's. Was called Fiesta Lakes at the time. I hit a hole in one on the 5th when I was 15! Used to golf here a lot with my Dad and Grandpa now I take my sons here every week. Love this place. Hope they can golf here with their sons one day and I'll be the Grandpa!

This place deserves way more respect! I used to play here in college when I went to ASU and the bros that ran shop here were always easy going, laid back, and really wanted us to have fun...you can spin round the 9 holes twice in about 2 hours or so and they always hook it up with coffee and sometimes a sandwich afterwards, especially if you're chill with them. respect to the stripe show golf club

I’ve played that course many times. It’s been a while, but I drive by it on the freeway every day. The greens are the only thing that make me not stop by. After watching this video I have a little nostalgia. May be playing it again soon. lol 👍🏻👍🏻

The cuts to the 'bad' parts of the course with the music was hilarious..!!

I love how that was like the most casual hole out ever

Reminds of the course i grew up playing in the south suburbs of Chicago. Urban Hills in Richton Park, Ill.

I would definitely play here. Not the best greens but it looks like it would really make you take chances off the tee.

Took me a moment to figure out where this was. LOL.. I played this course some 30 years ago (different name, but I can't remember what that was). It was a fun little course and in better shape back then.
Wouldn't play it again, but I enjoyed the entertainment Josh brings by exploring courses like this

Seems a lot of fun to play on. Golf ⛳️ should be played to have fun and enjoy the fellowship you are having with your buds. Beers, cigars and golf. ⛳️
