Darksign is an original album inspired by the music of Dark Souls and the upcoming Dark Souls 3. Ever since Demon's Souls, I have been captivated by these games like many others have and look forward to them like no other. I had a great time writing Borne in Blood and I was ecstatic with the response it got. Darksign is bigger and better than ever so sit back, close your eyes and prepare to listen!

I can imagine the boss arena switching forms constantly. Time moving so quickly that you can see the mountains getting turned to dust and the formations of rivers and lakes getting created, Cities rising and falling, And the boss moving as erratically as the arena you are in.

I'm not sure if anyone has noticed yet but this song is connected to 'Disgraced Deity'. There's a bit of melody from it but the real truth is when you listen to it backwards!

I like to think of Eilian to be like Gundyr.

You first encounter the Disgraced Deity in an abandoned temple, left to rot there and wallow in shame, the reason why unknown to those aware of the Deity's existence.

Then you travel through a portal back in time (perhaps a portal made by Eilian) and encounter the god. It is here that the God of Time, thought omnipotent for the command of time, falls in battle.

Shunned by the fellow deities and even abandoned by many worshippers, Eilian is stripped of everything the god once had, now left to suffer alone in their very shrine, very wanting to return to the past.

The disgraced deity finally reveals its true identity to you. It is Eilian the servant of time in all of its glory. now you face a true God and all of its divine power. For in this battle time is not on your side

Listening to this I can't help but think about what a time manipulation boss would be like from the environment decaying as the fight goes on to actual attacks the boss could use, such as launching time ruptures at you to moving around by speeding up its own time to a flash rewind to trip up your timing. Also boss weapon ether a clockwork staff or a clock hand great sword.

This may sound a bit silly and unreal but, I listened this piece almost a dozen time today (while I was corresponding) and I found it's structure pretty succesfuly and inspirational.
