Darksign II - Primordial Serpents

Darksign II continues the tribute to the Souls series with more original music inspired by the games. Now the series has come full circle, I was inspired to write a sequel to Darksign that was a love letter to the music of Demon's and Dark Souls, and an opportunity to leave my mark on it as well. Over the years the support of every one of you has meant the world to me and given me the confidence in my writing that I never knew I could achieve. I think Darkstalker Kaathe as the final boss of the much speculated Londor DLC would be damn perfect.

God I hope it takes place in Londor.

The Primordial Serpents. Both key players at the start of the Second Age of Fire, they influenced the Chosen Undead to link the fire, dooming the world to eternally rot away until entropy wiped the sorry world away and left it's slate clean.



However, now that the Unkindled have appeared some centuries ago, the Darkstalker Kaathe and the Kingseeker Frampt have become more active than ever, establishing their own pantheons, one dedicated to the dark, the other to the fire linking curse. And now that you, the Ashen One have arrived in The Painted World of Drangleic, where the two serpents now eternally battle futilely... Well, I suppose that this will be a battle for the ages.

Niiice, these titles would be clickbait for any souls-fan composer with less talent, but you are truly capable of creating songs that even surpass the orignal soundtrack!

Darkstalker Kaathe and Kingseeker Frampt. You encounter both figthing each other in a never ending cicle. At first they attack you aswell but they focus on their own fight. At second face they join forces against you.

Alex, thanks for creating pieces like this that are more ambient/level type of music. I wish at times the From Games had more level themes.

Too bad we won't get a prequel showing how Gwyn found the first flame. :/

My wish for Dark Souls 3 was to have the serpents as a bossfight. Let's hope for the dlc! By the way, how would you envision a fight against them?
