I think once DJI releases the FOV boost lens it will sway people towards the A5, especially if you can use it with horizon balance / steady with the it. Great comparison.

The tie breaker for me is the unlimited online storage for GoPro ($50/yr) since there's so much 4K footage I reference, but that might not be important for others.

If the action pro 5 had a Black Friday bundle deal I’d buy it. But the 13 bundle deal is looking pretty good

Much like bikes, I find the camera that is the most fun is the one that I actually use. I sometimes zip tie the DJI wireless mic next to my dropout for immersive sound. The sound is half the video!

I'd like to add my opinion on using the "fishbowl effect" for recording rides: Please don't! I want to see a 55 degree slope as a 55 degree slope and 15 mph as 15 mph and no rubber trees! That way, I get a real feel for the ride! Your comparison video has already helped me decide which I will get when I get the money to buy one to record my own rides. Thanks! Those add-on lenses are the hit!

I bought the DJI Action 4 after years of trouble with my GoPro's, I had so many bugged video's that I don't know why people still even buy GoPro's and that's with the recommended micro-sd cards! Everytime my battery ran out before I stopped recording video the video got bugged. Also happened without the battery running out but that's one I'm sure why it happened.

How do you record sound with dji mic and gopro? Record to dji only and sync them in post?
