As a result of this song I:
- Got my old bass guitar almost literally dug up and sent to me from my parents' house.
- Bought an amp for it.
- Then found out that it doesn't work, so repaired it, rebuilt the inside.
- Got a distortion pedal for it.
- Re-started learning playing it.
And now I can almost play the bass line of this song.

My dad is 74. It was playing in the car recently (he didn't know who they were) and he straight away told me he thought it was a great, well thought out song. He even borrowed some of their albums from me and enjoyed them. Black Halo is another one he brings up from time to time

I found this song when I felt more lost in my life, certainly the name of the band makes sense to me now. I was fighting my demons and felt trapped on my own body, my mental health was struggling a lot and I kinda lost the love I had for Music. When I came across this video, something spark back in me. "Deep down in the dark, loving you six feet on the ground, eternal love." That's exactly how I feel about it now, no matter how lost I am, I'll always love Music. Brilliant way to change the partner aspect of the song so it can resonate with cases like mine. ❤

Vorigen Samstag ist ein sehr guter Freund von uns verstorben knapp über 50 Krebs ein toller Mensch dann sehe ich plötzlich, dass Ihr im September in Altona das Video gedreht habt. Der Song hat mich vorher schon sehr berührt und mir war lange schon klar, dass er mit see you soon auch auf meiner Beerdigung gespielt wird. Mit dem Video konnten meine Tränen nochmal fließen und mein Herz und meine Seele sind berührt. Mit schwerstbehindertem Sohn... habe ich oft schwere Momente, aber Ihr holt mich immer wieder so hoch und Chris sagt auch, dass ist genau was Ihr wollt.
